Collection: over 10,000 books of social and nature sciences (minor books excluded).

Service Form: it provides 24-hour free self-service of borrowing, returning, renewing, and searching. Readers are required to take RFID card and swipe the card to enter the room. Readers can borrow 4 books for 15 days and renew books for 15 days at a time.

2. Nature Sciences Reading Room

Address: Floor 2 of Yulin Library

Collection: books recently published related with nature science and art.

Service Form: It offers readers such services as borrowing, reading, querying and retrieving of Chinese books concerned with nature science and art. Readers with library card can borrow 4 books for 15 days and will be offered 15-day online renewal or by phone.

3. Social Sciences Reading Room

Address: Floor 2 of Yulin Library

Collection: Chinese books of social sciences recently published

Service Form: it offers open-shelf reading and borrowing. Readers enjoy such services as borrowing, reading, querying and retrieving of Chinese books concerned with social sciences and art. Readers with library card can borrow 4 books for 15 days and will be offered 15-day online renewal or by phone at a time.

4. E-reading Room

Address: Floor 3 of Yulin Library

Service Form: Readers can get their library cards and reading cards here. And they can also enjoy many services like digital resources in Yulin Library and the National Cultural Information Resources Sharing Project, government information openness search, retrieving and viewing online information resources. Readers can download information and do some copying here. There are 32 computers, one of which is for government information openness search. Users can surf the Internet through real-name registration by ID card or library card within limited time. Each user can have a computer within 2 hours at a time.

5. Newspapers and Periodicals Reading Room

Address: Floor 3 of Yulin Library

Collection: Chinese newspapers and periodicals published the same year

Service Form: It provides open-shelf reading. Newspapers and periodicals cannot be loaned out.

6. Children Books Reading Room

Address: Floor 4 of Yulin Library

Collection: Children books recently published, children periodicals published the same year.

Service Form: books can be borrowed, but newspaper and periodicals can be read only inside the room and cannot be borrowed. Users can borrow, read, query and retrieve books. Readers with Children library card can borrow 4 books for 15 days and will be offered 15-day online renewal or by phone at a time.

7. Back Issues Reading Room

Collection: newspapers and periodicals out of date

Service Form: It offers indoor reading and query of newspapers and periodicals out of date. There is no borrowing. 

8. Local Literature Data Room

Address: Floor 5 of Yulin Library

Collection: books with local features and appropriate for the local readers, local data and official publishing. 

Service Form: It collects, sorts and uses the local literature to serve the local people. And it also provides indoor reading and query without borrowing.

9. Audio Reading Room for the Blind

Address: Floor 1 of the Gatehouse in Yulin Library

Service Form: It provides the visually impaired with barrier-free and nonprofit reading by offering them special computer and books for the blind. 

10.Reading Room Tailored for Parents and Children

Address: Floor 1 of the Gatehouse in Yulin Library

Collection: books published recently for pre-school children

Service Form: It is only for indoor reading. It provides books suited for pre-school children and takes all kinds of reading activities between parents and children.
